The new strains 101 and 78 of salt-tolerant wheat which have been bred by Fukang Eclolgy Station,ecolgical and geography institute in Xinjiang,Chinese Academy of Sciences,have the good characteristic of salt-tolerance,anti-lodging and higher yield.In saline fields,at 1.1; rate in salinity,a contrastive test have been produced,in which displayed that a yield of the new cultural strain 101 of salt-tolerant reached 7 180 kg/hm2 and 78 6 383 kg/hm2 . The two wheat which be planted in the soil of the moderate or high fertility,can reach the higher yield and suit the climate of north and south in Xinjiang.The two wheat have outstanding the breed benefit in production,in the soil of in slight or medium salinization;they are equal benefit than other higher yield wheat,in the oil of the moderate or high fertility.78 which belong to the property of the semi-winter,does not affect the yield in the late sowing at winter ago,is excellent wheat which follow the cotton stubble and the maize stubble.
